The very talented Sally Russick of www.thestudiosublime.com challenged us to"Focus on life: 52 photos" Her prompt this week is curves. Well sometimes life throws you a curve so go with it. Life's curve for me this week was another snow storm. I saw curves in the skidsteer tracks as I cleared yet another snowstorm from my yard and driveway. Last year at this time we had 5 days in the upper 70's and lower 80's. There are also plenty of curves in the piles of snow too. Thefirst pic is of a shed that is across the driveway from my house. As you can see it will be quite a while before there are flowers here. Thanx to all of you who visit my blog each week and leave comments. I really appreciate them.
Oh, dear, that's some snow! I don't mind the snow, I prefer a winter with snow than one with rain - but surely would be better to have it in December / January - not at the end of March :)
ReplyDeleteAt least you know the grass will be greener this year with so much water during the winter!
Yes Alicia I would rather be done with the snow too.
DeleteI love the treads in the snow. The pattern is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanx Tanya. I think the pattern is interesting too.
Deleteoh my! I'm going to have to stop complaining! we still have snow, but not as much as you!! this feels like the never ending winter this year!
ReplyDeleteUgh, look at all that white stuff - hope it melts soon!
ReplyDeleteMe too. I am sure glad that other post pics of flowers because I know it will be a while before I see any.
DeleteHi Cynthia. Thanx for the comment. The snow is piled there from a large section of the yard. It isn't that deep everywhere, but I do still have lots of snow.
ReplyDeleteWow, Becky, I think you have more than we do...it snowed (lightly) for several days in a row, but is now almost gone except the patches of snirt.
ReplyDeleteHope we all get Spring soon!
Thanx Lori. I am ready for spring also. When I was done plowing I looked back down the driveway and I saw curves.
DeleteOh my gosh - my sympathies. I'm so ready for spring which, I think, will come a little earlier in Atlanta...hopefully. :) Love your interpretation of curves!
ReplyDeleteThanx Lori. I am ready for spring also. When I was done plowing I looked back down the driveway and I saw curves.
DeleteBoy, you did get dumped on! I am jealous! Take care....it will be blistering hot before you know it!
ReplyDeleteHi Patti You would sure be welcome to as much of my snow as you want, lol.
DeleteI like those curves, hope the snow melts soon.
ReplyDeleteThanx, I sure hope so too.
DeleteJump in and make some snow angels! Hope it warms up soon...
ReplyDeleteI have made lots of snow angel over the years.
DeleteWe just got a few inches here too, but they are leaving (not fast enough for me though!) Glad you can see beauty in these tracks!
ReplyDeleteThanx Beti, Years ago when I had to be to work on time snow was a problem but now I can take my time and enjoy the process.
DeleteLots of snow, but snow makes great curves!
ReplyDeleteYou are right Donna.
DeleteI'm sorry you have to deal with snowy curves! Every time the storms came through, we got rain instead of snow. My yard is so waterlogged I don't think it will ever dry out!
ReplyDeleteThanx Annette. I don't mind it so much now that I have the equipment to deal with it. I do wish that spring would hurry though.
DeleteGreat curves in all that snow! I remember last spring too. We were eating dinner on the deck in t shirts. I am trying to be patient!!
ReplyDeleteThanx Mary, I'm trying to be patient too.
DeleteCool curves in the snow there for sure, but I can tell you'd rather have flowers growing to photograph instead of mounds of snow right now,...it is supposed to be spring after all! Hope it melts soon for you and that Spring brings some gorgeous blooms and colors your way!
ReplyDeleteThanx Shel. Yes I would much rather have flowers than snow.
DeleteThe tracks in the snow are great and the nice thing is that they will be gone soon! Hope so!
ReplyDeleteThanx Katherine. Yes I hope they will be gone soon.
DeleteTire tracks! Silver lining in all that snow. Love the post. (sorry about all the snow)
ReplyDeleteThanx Courtney. I will be glad when the snow finally leaves.
DeleteWOW you got a little snow eh? Great picture of the curves!!
ReplyDeleteYes I got a little snow this year, lol. Thanx
ReplyDeleteGreat photo Becky - it caught my attention! We just got about 6 inches yesterday - today it is almost all gone. It has been the coldest spring!
ReplyDeleteThanx Tracy, I wish mine was almost gone, but it will be a while.
