The very talented Sally Russick of The Studio Sublime prompt for this weeks focusing on life challenge was monochrome. This week finds me longing for warmer weather since the last round of snowstorms. I looked out my front window and saw the ice hanging off the barbeque grill and wished it was warmer so I could use it. I wanted to see right through those icicles to summer. Before this hop I thought everything was better in color. Thanx Sally for helping me to see better.

    1. Thanx Beth. The snow and ice on the grill were gone later in the day. I am waiting for warmer weather though.

  3. The grill looks so forlorn there with ice hanging off of it.

    1. That's what I thought. It was appropriate for what I was feeling.

  4. Our grill is one of the few snow free items around here... I don't care how nasty it is outside... the grill gets lit if we're having something that can be cooked on it! Sometimes the wind defeats us but not often! Yours looks very depressed!

    1. Yes that's what I thought when I looked out. I grill on nicer days too even in the winter.

  9. Brrrr! Not exactly grilling weather for you!! I'm sure it will be lovely when you can thaw it out and fire it up!! Nothing quite like a Summer bbq. :-)

  15. Yes Minnesota gets a lot of snow. We get to experience all 4 seasons fully. LOL. I do like fresh grilled veggies.

  16. What a juxtaposition! I suppose you could start the grill simply to melt the icicle's, but it would be a bit chilly for the chef! Here's hoping you get warmer weather in the not too distant future!
