Focusing on Life:Industrial Photography

Industrial Photography was our prompt this week from Sally at http://thestudiosublime.com. This is right up my alley. I have spent most of my like in an industrial atmosphere. I put this supercharged engine for sale this week so I took pics of it to post. When I came back in the house my email had Sally's prompt in it. The timing was perfect. You don't get much more industrial than the engine that runs your car. Especially a racing engine like this one. To see what the other participants posted use Sally's link above.

  1. SO what kind of engine does your car have now? Since that one is oviously no longer running your car! If that was my house it would be in the middle of the kitchen floor!

    1. My car has a 3800 Buick engine. This engine was bought for a street rod project that my husband never got done. It was never in my car it is a racing engine. I have had lots of car parts in my livingroom and diningroom. He even ran some car parts through my dishwasher to clean them.

    1. I repainted it so the color would be fresh. All the chrome makes the orange seem even brighter. This engine was rebuilt and has not been installed in a vehicle yet.

    1. Thanx Lori, The old cars have been in my life for more than 4 decades. My jewelry design started in about 2000 and only seriously in the last 3 or 4 years. Sometimes it does feel like a double life.
